We meet somewhere in the run area above on Thursday afternoons, at the earliest 1530 in the winter months to around 1700 in high summer when it is a bit warmer. The details are usually in the Cyprus Mail on Sunday, the Cyprus Weekly and the Cyprus Lion on Fridays. Details are also broadcast on BFBS and Coast FM during the week and are at Run Venues.
This Hash is a family Hash, where children and pets are welcome, however their owners are expected to ensure that they conform to Hash etiquette and do not spoil the adult games. If there is an altercation of any kind between hashers, dogs or dogs and Hashers then the responsibility for settlement lies with the Hashers concerned, not the Hash.
It is not essential to run, you can jog or walk or mix and match if you wish, whichever you are comfortable with.
Above all, please remember that YOU and YOU alone are responsible for your actions and those of your pets and offspring's. If you or they fall down a hole, trip over a dead goat or walk into a tree, then it's your fault for not watching where you or they are going, not ours. We're a Hash not a walk in the park. Neither the Committee nor the Hash as a whole will take any responsibility for any injuries sustained whilst in our company.
In the warmer months you will need to carry water with you to drink during the run and in the cooler months something or someone warm to wrap up in after the run when we like to socialize. Once a month, usually the first Thursday, we go to a taverna for a meal or we have a picnic.
