Happy Valley is the island's newest Hash being formed in October 2002 by 'Tug' Wilson, the then Garrison Commander at Episkopi, and a few others of the Epi Hash who, like the founders of the Polygon Hash were a bit pissed off at not being able to take their wives and/or girl friends hashing.

The first run was on 31st October with seven Hashers and three Hashettes, one of whom,  Sam Davidson, was the first lady hare in Happy Valley. The other founder members were Trevor Berry, Jon Kille, Paul Hall, Kevin Joyce, Moira Rowlands, Rebecca Lloyd, Noel Trimble and Will Craig. 

Since then we have gone from strength to strength, often fielding over sixty runners (a number of whom are!) welcoming not only wives and girl friends but offsprings as well.

Our runs cover a fairly wide area in the southwest of the island as indicated on aboutus but nearly always within about half an hours drive of Happy Valley
